Over 50kg Fukki seized by Budgam Police, 2 drug peddlers arrested | KNO

Budgam, August 02 (KNO) : Jammu and Kashmir Police Friday claimed to have arrested two persons along with 50kg fuki on Chadoora-Pampora Road. A senior police official told KNO that on Friday evening a naka was laid by a police party of Police Post Chadoora Budgam at Keer Kadal on Chadoora- Pampore road. “During checking, a vehicle bearing registration number JK01L-5909 was stopped for checking. On enquiring two persons namely Gulzar Ahmad Ganai, son of Abdul Rahman of Kakpora Pulwama and Mudasir Ahmad Dar, son of Ali Mohammad Dar of Chudsu Pulwama were found boarding the vehicle,” he said. From their possession, 50 kgs of Fukki concealed in six gunny bags were recovered, he added.  Officials told KNO that a case under FIR number 138/2019 under section 8/15 NDPS Act was registered against the drug peddlers in Police Station Chadoora Budgam and further investigation has been started. (KNO)
